I can't believe the amount of
people at shoutwire found this article funny. How can a guy spraying semen on a little girl of 8 years old via a water pistol be funny. It is gross, sick and the idiot of a human being should be arrested for violating a little girl.
Whether the article is true or not remains to be heard/seen but the fact that so many people ( I gave up after 20 comments) found it hilarious is seriously disturbing (*shudders).

Could anyone point me to Computer Junkyard
Apr. 11th, 2006 | 10:59 pm
music: Holding On To You - Liberty X
Sometime this year, I came across an article in the Metro newspaper over here in the UK that talked about a computer junkyard where people could send their unwanted computers and people who wanted these could have them for free - (basically another person's rubbish is another person's gold dust).
I can't remember the url and I am hoping that someone out there could help me out

Put down whatever you are doing and go read Road to Redemption: Step One - Cat's Cradle
It is intensely hot.
I would like to do a synopsis, but I feel I would give it away and spoil things.

Another beautifully written fic, Invitation to Supper Part of the Nourishment Series - Can be read as standalone or as part of the series
Lex convinces Clark that sleeping with Chloe is all kinds of good (established Clex relationship)

You are a Benevolent Creator.
About You
You are a Creator
Your imagination, confidence, willingness to explore, and appreciation of beauty make you a CREATOR.
You are independent, and you enjoy your self-sufficiency.
Defying convention, you are very innovative, and you have a vivid imagination.
The look of things is important to you, and you have a keen eye for aesthetic beauty in multiple arenas.
You have a strong interest in what is new and exciting—and that includes forging ahead with new ideas, not simply discovering what is already out there.
Your eagerness to seek new and varied experiences leads you into many different situations.
You're not set on one way of doing things, and you are creative when it comes to finding novel solutions to complex problems.

Brad Pitt haggling for an Oscar via a gay role
Feb. 1st, 2006 | 06:06 pm
mood:

music: Going Under - Evanescence
Just read this article and its seems a certain Mr Pitt is in pursuit of a gay role so that he could be an Oscar contender.
This part of the article made me want to puke
"Brad knows it would be seen as shocking to take on a gay role because he's seen as such a heart-throb.
Talk about an inflated view of oneself.
Continue this way dear Brad and you'll be signing yourself a permanent cheque to loserville, do not pass go just head straight to loserville.

Brokeback Mountain and Thank you Fandom
Jan. 28th, 2006 | 09:01 pm
mood:
sad
A long time ago I wouldn't be able to watch two people of the same sex kissing without feeling uncomfortable. Fast forward to January 2006 and here I am watching Brokeback Mountain without an iota of uncomfortability but with precedented anguish that two people so in love with each other are torn apart by fear of the unknown.
People who label this as a gay cowboy film should look at this film a bit more objectively, this film that represents our emotions at different stages in our lives.
Fear, Joy, Pain, Love, Happiness, Addiction, Hurt, etc.
Ennis and Jack are the Romeo and Juliet of a different era.
As much as I loved this film I felt that Ang Lee did this film a bit of injustice by not exploring all avenues and left some areas hollow e.g. Alma and Lureen’s characters. It’s a good film and definitely one I’m buying on DVD.
Heath Ledger’s performance is worthy of an Oscar nomination.
